Celebration of the past 50 years

November 5th 2021. What’s so special about this date? The fact, that exactly 50 years before it, the factory – at that time, operating as an electron tube factory, known as „Egyesült Izzólámpa és Villamossági Rt.”, (EIVRT) – was inaugurated in Izzó Street.

Quality education is a major matter for VIDEOTON

The Kaposvár plant of VIDEOTON has always paid special attention to the education of technicians of the future and to provide appropriate conditions for their training.

VIDEOTON at the Hungarian Battery Day conference

On the 30th of September, the newly formed Hungarian Battery Association organized an international conference about the opportunities and challanges of the Hungarian battery industry, called Hungarian Battery Day.

Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Somogy county, Somogyi Hírlap, and the National Tax and Customs Authority prepared a list of TOP 100 companies in Somogy County for the 13th time based on their 2019 turnover.

We won “Supplier of The Year” recognition from 3M

In the category plastic injection moulding, our company was awarded the recognition “Supplier of the Year” by 3M. Through our close cooperation, which dates back to 2005, we moulded and transported nearly 2.5 billion plastic parts for the US based, international company.

We are 50 years old

We would proudly like to share with you that VIDEOTON - and its predecessors – have been presented in the life of Kaposvár for 50 years.

VIDEOTON opens towards the manufacture of medical devices

VT ES Kft. is the second within the VIDEOTON group of companies – after VIDEOTON Elektro-PLAST Kft. – to obtain the ISO 13485 standard for quality management of medical devices.

VIDEOTON has had a stable year in 2020

Despite the extraordinary challenges of 2020, the VIDEOTON company group, which has nearly 7000 employees, is expected to close a consistent year: the turnover will be slightly above the 2019 level. The prospects for new businesses are even more favourable than last year.
