VIDEOTON won Business Ethics Award

On 26 November, 2020, an evaluation committee awarded the Business Ethics Award to VIDEOTON Elektro-PLAST Kft. and two other companies in the large-enterprise category. The prestigious recognition was awarded to our company for its merits in raising the ethical standards of domestic business and for conducting business for the environment and social well-being.

Loyalty is a value – we rewarded the loyalty of 131 colleagues

The commitment to VIDEOTON is a value for all of us. In 2020, because of the coronavirus restrictions, it was significant to protect our employees' health, so we needed to greet those employees who have been working for VIDEOTON and its predecessors for 10 – 15 – 20 – 30 – 45 years in an unusual way.

Donation of ”Cyclist Breakfast” prize

At the beginning of September, “Cyclist Breakfast” program was organized in many Hungarian towns, so in Kaposvár as well, in three different spots.

VIDEOTON donated masks

VIDEOTON Holding ZRt. and Maspterplast Nyrt. were among the first who supported the protection against the coronavirus by producing 20,000 pcs of polypropylene masks, to which VIDEOTON contributed HUF 5 million.

Both of our companies VIDEOTON Elektro-PLAST Kft. and VIDEOTON Battery Technologies Kft. have been awarded the 1^st, bronze grade of the Family-Friendly Workplace certification mark.

Our directors represent Somogy County in Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Our senior director – András Gerber – was re-elected to be the president of the service department of the Somogy Chamber of Commerce and Industry and was nominated as a vice president of the Somogy Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

VIDEOTON donated medical instruments and apparatus in 3.7 million forint value

Our company group is a responsible company that has initiated a programme to support medical institutions affected by the corona-virus. As the current step of this initiation the subsidiary in Kaposvár has offered orthopaedic traumatology surgical motor, hydraulic bath bed, and tubular patient sheet in 3.7 million forint value to the Somogy Megyei Kaposi Mór Teaching Hospital and the Dr. Szaplonczay Manó Integrated Hospital Unit in Marcali.

Quality professional club at VIDEOTON

Our company welcomed the quality professional club for the second time which was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Somogy County. Directors and quality managers of companies in Somogy County attended to the event to get to know the quality system of our company.

Medal rain at the 10th Kaposvár Carnival Half Marathon

Runners of Videoton performed well at the 10th Kométa Carnival Half Marathon. We had four competing teams to struggle with the five hills of Kaposvár.

Based on the economic data of 2018 in the revenue ranking VIDEOTON Elektro-PLAST Kft. took the 4^th place and VIDEOTON Battery Technologies Kft. took the 10^th place on the list of TOP 100 of Somogy County.
